The Israeli “Hot Winter” offensive continued in Nablus. The military surrounded, entered and ransacked homes throughout Nablus. At least 4 Palestinians were abducted. In the Al Far’a refugee camp south of Tubas, Israeli military units entered, fired tear gas into residents homes, and abducted several people. In Jenin, undercover Israeli troops attempted to abduct a leader of the Al-Quds Brigades. He and two other Palestinians were killed in clashes there. In Gaza, Palestinian resistance groups launched rocket attacks on Israeli military installations in Ashkilon and the nearby settlement of Birri, located in the Negev desert.
